Day 60 Ancient Town We spend the day at the beach as this will be the last sun we see for 4 or 5 days! We sit at La Plage again… same drill. Book. Food. We take a grab after 5pm to Hoi An.
Day 56 Head to An Bang I remember I need a SIM card and turns out reception can magic one up in 10 mins. Turns out though you get unlimited data with Vinaphone… not Viettel who are actually good! Lesson for the day.
Day 49 Viet Jet Airways Leisurely breakfast at hotel before flight from Bangkok to Da Nang. Viet Jet have a terrible reputation for being late and a bit like EasyJet… but we are in luck!
Day 40 Bus to Pattaya We are up and heading to the bus station for a 4 hour journey to Pattaya – south of Bangkok. We regret this now as Hua Hin was a grower.
Day 29 Van to Surat Thani We are leaving Phi Phi Island today. We wish we could stay – but to do that we needed to book up earlier; full or expensive now. That’s the trade with being flexible… sometimes you can’t get what you discover you want!
Day 24 Hello Paradise We get picked up at 11.30 in a truck and taken to the ferry port. We booked the 1pm ferry, Thai time, so it leaves at 1.30 and takes 1.5 hours… not 1 hour as advertised.
Day 19 Chomview kids park We have breakfast and swim for a couple of hours before Pete grabs the tuk tuk couple from next door. The driver, our bags, me, Pete and Mrs Tuk Tuk jump in.. she’s blagging a lift to see friends. No English is spoken
