Day 76 – Tam Coc and a Reunion Our sleeper train from Hue to Ninh Binh was uneventful. We manage about 4 hours sleep, not bad. But not great as we are meeting Pete’s old mate for a bike ride this morning!

Day 74 – Train Journey To Hue Today we leave Hoi An from Dan Nang and get a beautiful, scenic train journey up the coast to Hue. We try ‘soft seat’ class 2. We were warned it would be noisy.

Day 68 – British, French and Vietnamese We only booked one night in Nha Trang as we wanted to get to Da Nang. Our hotel for the night is the 4 Star Apus Hotel. Cost us £12 including breakfast and a rooftop pool!

Day 60 – Mui Ne and Back to the Beach Wow, day 60!! Can’t believe it. We make our way to Mui Ne as a last minute change of plan. We feel the need for beach ⛱️.

Day 57 – Ho Chi Minh City We booked a 10.30am minibus from Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh. It was a good trip. Looking forward to seeing the sights of this famous city – previously known as Saigon.
